Thanks to Nancy for offering her porch and beautiful yard for this year's Takoma Porch Fest. Great musicians, a friendly audience, and a wonderful time. 

So great to be interviewed on Talk of Takoma on WOWD Radio in Takoma Park. WOWD is a community radio station and they're airing an eclectic mix of programming. During the interview I performed a few new songs, including Black Girl from Nebraska. The song is based on the homestead town of DeWitty in Cherry County Nebraska. DeWitty was one of the largest black settlements during the Homestead Act era. The love story is fictional but the town and its history are true.
